Traffic Awareness Programme

On 24th June 2024, a Traffic Awareness Program was conducted at Chavara Hall, starting at 1:40 p.m. The program was designed for the students of grades 7 and 8 to educate them about the importance of road safety and adhering to traffic rules. The session was facilitated by officers from the Micolayout Traffic Police Station.

The event commenced with an introductory speech by the Master of Ceremonies, Mr. Nibin Hansel, who emphasized the critical need for traffic awareness among students. Following this, the principal welcomed the officers, honouring Rajanna, the Police Inspector, with a sapling as a token of appreciation. Although Mahadev, Assistant Commissioner of Police, was not present, he was still honoured in absentia.

Rajanna then took the stage to start the class, with his team providing assistance. The session was highly engaging, incorporating humour and interactive elements such as quizzes to maintain the students’ interest. The students responded enthusiastically, actively participating in the quizzes and discussions.

After the informative and entertaining session, which concluded at 3 p.m., the principal honoured Rajanna with a shawl and a gift as a mark of gratitude for his invaluable contribution. Jhanvi of Grade 9 thanked all the officers for their time and assistance. The program successfully highlighted the importance of road safety and the role of education in fostering responsible future citizens.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Inspector Rajanna B and his team for their time and efforts in educating our students about traffic safety. Together, let’s strive for a safer and more disciplined traffic environment in Bengaluru!
