World Environment Day

 

Christ School CBSE proudly celebrated World Environment Day on June 5, 2025, uniting our school community in a collective effort to care for our planet!

The event was confidently emceed by our talented students—Evan (3D), Thaniha (2E), Rakhin (4E), and Naeva (4F)—who ensured a smooth flow of the program. It began with a soulful invocation hymn by the school choir and a warm welcome address by Chris Kurian (8A).

A powerful mime performance by Grade 9 students highlighted key environmental concerns, urging everyone to take action for a better future. The highlight of the day was the symbolic act of planting saplings by our Principal, Rev. Fr. Johnson Kadaparambil CMI, and staff secretaries Mr. Vinoth, Ms. Akhila, and Ms. Stella, reinforcing our shared commitment to a greener world.

In his inspiring address, the Principal, Rev. Fr. Johnson Kadaparambil CMI, encouraged everyone to be responsible stewards of the Earth, and Deshika (8D) led an oath-taking ceremony, pledging to protect and nurture the environment.

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Sera (8D) and Iris (7E), and a special thank-you video that captured the spirit of the day.

Report on World Environmental Day Celebration

On June 5, 2025, Christ School CBSE commemorated World Environment Day with the active participation and enthusiasm of both students and personnel. The objective of the event was to increase students’ awareness of environmental conservation and to foster a sense of responsibility for the preservation of a greener planet.

Evan (3D), Thaniha (2E), Rakhin (4E), and Naeva (4F) emceed the program, which commenced punctually at 9:00 a.m. in the auditorium. They confidently and seamlessly managed the event’s flow.

The school choir’s invocation hymn initiated the day’s events, establishing a reverent and tranquil atmosphere. The gathering was subsequently warmly welcomed by Chris Kurian of Grade 8A, who urged all attendees to embrace the message of preserving the environment.

A creative and impactful mime performance by Grade 9 students was a standout feature of the program. It addressed urgent environmental issues and motivated the audience to take active measures to safeguard the Earth.

After the spectacle, the Principal, Rev. Fr. Johnson Kadaparambil CMI, and staff secretaries Mr. Vinoth, Ms. Akhila, and Ms. Stella executed the symbolic act of sapling planting. This act emphasized the school community’s shared dedication to fostering a more sustainable future.

The Principal, Rev. Fr. Johnson Kadaparambil CMI, delivered an inspiring message to the audience, encouraging all attendees to assume the responsibility of caring for the planet and to actively engage in the preservation of its resources. Subsequently, Deshika of Grade 8D conducted an oath-taking ceremony during which students committed to safeguarding and preserving the environment.

Sera (8D) and Iris (7E) delivered a vote of thanks at the conclusion of the event, expressing their sincere appreciation for the active participation and contributions of all participants, staff members, and attendees. Mr. Sandeep and Mr. Nibin produced a thank-you video as a special gesture, which demonstrated the school’s commitment to environmental sustainability and captured the essence of the day.

The celebration was a resounding triumph, cultivating a profound sense of responsibility for the environment and community spirit in all those in attendance. It functioned as a timely reminder of our collective commitment to protect our planet for the benefit of future generations.
