Karnataka Formation Day is celebrated as ‘Rajyotsava’ day on the 1st of November every year. This celebration marks the birth of Karnataka state of Karnataka, on 1st November 1956.
Christ School CBSE celebrated the 69th Kannada Rajyotsava on November 13th.
The programme began at 9 am with chief guest Dr. H L Pushpa’s arrival.
Dr. H L Pushpa is a Kannada poet, playwright and critic and currently serving literature as the President of Karnataka women’s Writers Association.
The programme started with a prayer dance and various Cultural events including dances and songs were performed. Prizes were distributed to competition winners on the same day. Karnataka Rajyotsava celebration was a reminder of rich culture, heritage and the unity of people from different parts of the state.
