Investiture and Oath-Taking Ceremony 2025–26

The Investiture and Oath-Taking Ceremony for the academic year 2025–26 was conducted with solemnity and grandeur at Christ School (CBSE), celebrating a significant moment in the school’s annual calendar. This ceremony marked the formal installation of the newly elected student cabinet and the symbolic transfer of leadership responsibilities.

The event commenced with a Guard of Honour, led by the school band, ceremoniously escorting the dignitaries to the venue. The dignitaries included the Chief Guest, Rev. Dr. Viju P.D. CMI, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Christ University, Rev. Dr. Johnson Kadaparambil CMI, Principal, Rev. Fr. Reji Koodapattu CMI, Vice Principal, along with faculty secretaries and invited guests.

A graceful invocation dance by the students set the tone of reverence and solemnity, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the beginning of a new chapter in student leadership.

The investiture ceremony commenced with the presentation of the Head Boy, G. Manuvanth, and Head Girl, Varnika Singh, who were conferred with their badges, sashes, and bouquets by the Chief Guest. The school flag was handed over by the outgoing student leaders, signifying the formal handover of responsibilities.

Following this, the School Captains and LCA Secretaries were introduced and honoured. The outgoing leaders, including Pranav Yadav, Deekshashree R.P, Vedanth Kumar, Hansika P Reddy, Jason John, and Moina Rumman, were recognised for their exemplary service with certificates of appreciation.

The newly appointed House Captains were presented with their respective flags, badges, sashes, and bouquets, marking their entry into formal leadership roles. They were warmly welcomed by the School Captains.

Ministry Leaders across categories like Language and Literature, Science and Technology, Environment and Social Welfare, and Arts and Culture were also formally introduced and honoured.

The most solemn moment of the event was the Leadership Oath, led by the newly elected Head Boy, where the entire cabinet pledged to uphold the ideals and responsibilities entrusted to them with integrity and commitment.

The Chief Guest, Rev. Dr. Viju P.D. CMI, delivered an inspiring address, urging the young leaders to lead with compassion, responsibility, and vision. The Principal, Rev. Dr. Johnson Kadaparambil, also addressed the gathering, encouraging the students to remain grounded and goal-oriented in their leadership journey.
