Christ School celebrated No Bag Day on 30th June 2026, transforming the campus into a vibrant space of creativity, compassion, and experiential learning.

The celebrations commenced with a grand inaugural programme, during which the school had the privilege of honouring our former Principal, Fr. Dr. Johnson Kadaparambil CMI, in recognition of his invaluable contribution to the institution. We were also blessed by the gracious presence of our Guest of Honour, Fr. John K, whose beautiful singing added meaning to the occasion.

The cultural extravaganza featured remarkable performances by our guest appearances Ms. Sanvi Gowda, Ms. Diana Paul, and Ms. Gauri Parvathy, whose energetic dance performances captivated the audience. The programme also showcased a rich variety of student performances reflecting the diverse talents of our students.

A highlight of the programme was the vibrant Shingari Melam performance by a talented team from Kerala to engage and enthral our students.

Another significant highlight of the inaugural programme was the Investiture Ceremony of the Junior Cabinet Members, where the newly elected student leaders proudly took their oath of responsibility and leadership, marking the beginning of their journey as young leaders of the

As part of the school’s commitment to nurturing compassion, groups of students visited an Old Age Home, a Charitable Trust, and Christ Special School, where they distributed the items generously donated by students spreading joy, kindness, and hope within the community.

Back on campus, students engaged in numerous hands-on activities such as Cooking Without Fire, Best Out of Waste, Bouquet Making, and Rangoli. Practical life-skill sessions introduced students to changing a vehicle tyre and the basics of folding and ironing clothes, encouraging self-reliance and confidence in everyday tasks.

The primary students had an enriching outdoor learning experience through visits to Dharmaram Birds Park and the DVK Library. After which they enjoyed classroom activities including painting, drawing, colouring, singing, dancing, buddy time with friends, and a variety of indoor games such as Snakes and Ladders, Ludo, and Rubik’s Cube, fostering creativity, collaboration, and joyful learning.

Adding another meaningful dimension to the celebrations, a Blood Donation Camp was organised on the school campus with enthusiastic participation from our parent community. By coming forward to donate blood, our parents not only contributed to a noble cause but also set a powerful example of compassion, generosity, and social responsibility for their children, truly becoming role models through their selfless act of service.

The day concluded on a high note with an energetic DJ session, where students celebrated together with music and dance.

The event stood as a testament to Christ School commitment to nurturing confident, responsible, and socially conscious individuals, making the day an unforgettable experience for every student, parent, and staff member.
